Eligibility
The fact that
CCBA is a level II certification
program, hence it requires the aspirants to have at least 2 or 3 years of
experience in the field of business analysis.
Also, candidates
need to undergo training for professional development for 35 hours. A total of
3750 hours of credible work experience in business analysis (BA) is required
for the past 7 years. You need to have a total of 900 hours in at least 2 out of 6 knowledge areas.
A minimum of 21 hours in the last 4 years of professional
development career is a requirement.
All of these eligibility specifications are
set by the BABOK guidelines.
Competencies
The certification
exams are structured based on the guidelines of BABOK and includes such
questions which are based on scenarios.
The CCBA Exam is furnished with 130
multiple choice questions that you need to complete within a time period of 3
hours.
The IIBA does not
release the minimum pass percentage and the validity of the certification is
mentioned at the time of declaration of the result.
